Kate-Lois Elliott.

Kate-Lois Elliott is a comedian, actor and writer. She tells stories that are selfdeprecating and (according to a drunk man at the Fringe) unexpectedly profound. She also makes (same guy) ‘really weird’ sketches. Kate’s web series How to Be Maggie: With Maggie P was nominated for a British Writers’ Guild Award in 2022 and the Funny Women Content Creator Awards 2021. She has performed standup all over the UK, as well as across Los Angeles. Her award-winning sell-out debut show, Gentrif*cked – about finding your purpose without joining a cult (like her grandma did) – is currently touring the UK. She was a finalist in the British Comedy Guide Performance Awards 2022 as well as the West End New Act Competition 2023. Kate is also co-host of the successful podcast, Diversify, whose guests have included Ria Lina, Maisie Adam, Kai Samra and Samuel Oatley (Dr Who).  Kate’s debut novel The Inner Channel was longlisted for the prestigious Merky Books New Writer’s Prize 2021 (a Penguin Random House company, fronted by Stormzy).
